USS John Glenn NCC-2707-A

As the Prototype was launched at a different Station somewhere in Federation space the blueprint or design database was kept at Mars Design Station for further needs of repairing any XI Class starships. A few months later the Prototype was brought back to space dock for refiting and went back into space for another 2 years until she joined a battle group with Kirk's ship. After a battle with a ememy unknown that the Enterprise and seval other starships were fighting in, the John Glenn was taken heavy damage all over the ship and had to be tugged along by the Starship Yosho while it was still running with only life support running on most of the decks. As the John Glenn and the Yosho coming into range to a Space dock, Starfleet command orded the Yosho to tow the John Glenn to Mars Shipyards at Station Alpha 5 were she can be repaired and be givin the A because she was 99% destroyed and 25% of her crew died in honor and bravery during the battle. The John Glenn was given another chance also she's got 3x Torpedo bays 2x on the Starboard and Portside hull with extra firepower.
